Description	Thymus Acetone Powder, Rabbit
Procedure	Thymus glands are collected from rabbits, (New Zealand White or California White, 8-10 weeks of age, either sex and fasted) at the time of slaughter and frozen on driy ice within 30 minutes of death. Thymus powder is prepared using an acetone dehydration method.
Assays	The protein content is measured by the Sigma Protein assay method to be 34.9 % of the dry weight.
